Frequently asked questions

How many square feet are in one Marla?

One Marla equals 272.25 square feet under the standard revenue measure used in Punjab and most of Pakistan. One Kanal is 20 Marla = 5,445 sq ft, and one Acre is 8 Kanal = 43,560 sq ft. Note: some housing societies historically used a 225 sq ft Marla — always confirm which measure a seller is quoting.

How do I convert Celsius to Fahrenheit?

Multiply by 9/5 and add 32. For example 30°C = (30 × 9/5) + 32 = 86°F. The Temperature tab does this instantly, including Kelvin.

Why does Data use 1024 instead of 1000?

Computers count storage in binary: 1 KB = 1,024 bytes, 1 MB = 1,024 KB. Hard-drive marketing sometimes uses 1,000, which is why a “500 GB” drive shows about 465 GB in Windows.
